We both manage our own individual portfolio, as well as partnering on development projects that fit our criteria. Our passion is workforce housing - however we are open to creative means of financing to make a project profitable for all parties.
Originally built in the 1900s, the Kindig House was once home to a nationally recognized rifle collection, as well as the largest storage of York County historic memorabilia during its time. We walked through Kindig House when it had long been abandoned and with the help of the York County Economic Alliance (YCEA), it is our first workforce housing project in the City of York.
Kindig House will feature 4, one-bedroom apartments and a common area. Each unit is approx. 800 sq ft and one unit will have access to a private deck. Tenants will also have off-street parking and a walkable distance to Downtown.
Anticipated open in March, 2023.
We were approached by the Dauphin County Department of Community & Economic Development (DCDCED) to review a parcel in Lykens Borough that once stood an old elementary school. Lykens Borough partnered with DCDCED to demolish the school and advertise the need for a developer to help improve the site. DCDCED pointed us to the Local Share Municipal Grant (LSMG) to aid in our upfront costs to take down the land.
Lykens Cottages are 5, single-floor homes with private parking pads and optional sheds. These houses are 100% pre-manufactured.
Anticipated completion date of the first two cottages is late Q3.
